Terms & Conditions of Booking
1. Reservation
1.1 Your reservation is complete once you have received confirmation from us in writing, following receipt and clearance of your £100 deposit.
1.2 Your provisional booking will only be held for 7 days unless the deposit is received.
1.3 We cannot accept any reservations made for groups under the age of 21 years old.
1.4 We cannot accept responsibility for the non-availability of the property for reasons beyond our control. Where possible we will endeavour to provide at least 4 weeks notice and aim to make a full refund for the cancellation of the booking.
1.5 All bookings are subject to availability and owners discretion.
2. Deposit
2.1 The £100 deposit is non-refundable.
2.2 The balance will be due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
2.3 Once you have received booking confirmation you are responsible for the total price quoted on the correspondence.
3. Cancellation
3.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.
3.2 No refund will be made for cancellations within the 6 weeks prior to arrival. If the property is re-let then a refund of the re-let price will be refunded or the booking transferred to a different date.
3.3 We strongly recommend holiday cancellation insurance to cover any financial losses incurred.
4. Arrival & Departure
4.1 Arrival is requested after 3.00pm and departure by 10.00am unless otherwise agreed.
4.2 A short break constitutes a minimum of 3 nights stay.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1 We reserve the right to amend prices quoted in published information.
5.2 Payments can be made by cheque, payable to Mrs W Cleaver or by cash, in the event of a last minute booking.
5.3 Any charges incurred for dishonoured cheques or bank administration (e.g. overseas payments) will be passed on to you for reimbursement.
5.4 All utilities, towels and linen are provided at no extra cost.
5.5 The owner is entitled to make additional charges for any cleaning or repairs to damage caused.
5.6 A £10 charge will be made for the loss of the key.
6. Liability
6.1 We accept no liability for loss of or damage to your possessions on the property or land. This includes your vehicle.
6.2 We reserve the right to enter the property at any time for maintenance and safety checks. Notice will be sought.
6.3 If there shall be a breach of any of these conditions by you, we reserve the right to terminate the letting.
6.4 The property, its furniture, fittings and effects must be left in the same state of repair/cleanliness and general order in which it was found.
6.5 Any breakages or faults must be reported to the owner at the earliest convenience.
6.6 This property is strictly a no smoking area.
7. Complaints and correspondence
7.1 We try to take every care to prepare the property to a standard whereby you will enjoy your holiday. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please contact us immediately. Every effort will then be made to assist you.
7.2 If you wish to write, please address your complaint to Mrs Wendy Cleaver. However, it is frustrating if we are denied the opportunity of investigating the complaint and to put matters right during your holiday.
